Surgery:
Rhinoplasty is usually performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Either an open or closed technique may be used.
Recovery:
Swelling and bruising may occur during the first few days. Tampons and splints are removed within about a week. Full recovery may take several months.
