Before the Surgery

Women over the age of 18 who experience sagging due to the reasons mentioned above and are medically fit for general anesthesia are suitable candidates for breast lift surgery. During the initial consultation, breast size, degree of sagging, symmetry, and body structure are thoroughly evaluated. The patient’s expectations and desired degree of lift are discussed, and detailed information is provided about the surgical technique. The surgical plan is tailored to the patient's needs and goals.

Hospital and Surgery Process

Pre-operative tests are usually completed on the same day or the day before surgery. Patients must not eat or drink anything for at least 8 hours prior to the procedure. If the anesthesiologist finds no issues during their evaluation, the operation proceeds as planned. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, so the patient does not feel pain during the procedure.

The surgery typically lasts 2–3 hours, though total hospital time may be extended due to anesthesia and recovery. After the procedure, antibiotics and pain management are initiated. A check-up is performed the next day, and if everything is in order, the patient is discharged. A follow-up visit is scheduled for the third day after surgery.

Pre-Surgery Preparation

Be sure to inform your doctor about any previous surgeries, chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid disease, any known allergies to medications or foods, and any medications you use regularly. If there is a family history of breast cancer or other breast diseases, this should also be communicated to your doctor.
